Raheem Sterling, a winger for Manchester City, is said to be a target for Chelsea. The west London club is hoping to make Sterling their biggest summer signing.

Sterling is eager to come to Stamford Bridge, according to The Sun, if Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel can provide assurances about his role.

Due to a dearth of goals from their attackers, Chelsea were unable to establish a meaningful campaign for the Premier League title last season.

Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, and Christian Pulisic have all struggled in front of goal this season.

Chelsea could be on the lookout for a striker this summer. Todd Boehly, the club's new owner, will furnish the club with a massive £200 million transfer budget. The Blues are prepared to pay £60 million for Sterling.

He has 131 goals in 339 appearances for the club, winning the Premier League four times, the EFL Cup four times, and the FA Cup once. The 27-year-old had a strong 2021-22 season, scoring 17 goals and assisting nine times in 47 games across all competitions.

However, for both legs of City's UEFA Champions League semifinal against Real Madrid, he was left out of the starting lineup. He also did not start the Premier League season's final game against Aston Villa.

His lack of playing time towards the conclusion of the season has prompted speculation about his future at Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola is keen to keep the England international at the club. The 27-year-contract old's has only one year left on it. According to Metro, though, contract negotiations between the player and the club have come to a halt.

Manchester City are rumoured to be interested in signing Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey to replace Chelsea target Raheem Sterling.

Due to his pace, dribbling, directness, and goal-scoring ability, Raheem Sterling has become an important member of Manchester City's squad over the years.

If Sterling goes this summer, Guardiola's team will be looking for a suitable successor. According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is a target for the Premier League champions.

Last season, the 20-year-old was one of the Gunners' best performers, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists across all competitions.

However, Mikel Arteta's team was unable to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. Saka may be eager to compete in Europe's top tournament and win titles.
